Color class...

So far in color class we have dealt mainly with color aid paper, which is basically 312 different colored squares(that cost lots of money) that we cut up and paste to make images.
PS. all these projects are relatively SMALL scale, so it doesn't look as good close-up- like in the photos I've taken of it.

I am not really a neat person, so this has been a challenge for me, but here are some of my designs and images:

Ok-so let me explain these projects a little bit :0

This project had to do with gradation of colors(colors the flow from dark to light in the same hue) and also using complementary colors to cause vibration(basically colors that together hurt your eyes when you look at it). This next one is the first of three pieces(the rest will follow).
This is a color observation project where you take a small section of a room and match up the color aid paper to create that space-this first one is inside and sunny/shadow outside area.
This project uses diminishing scale of objects and color gradation to create the illusion of depth of field- in this case a seascape.
This second boat image deals with transparency/the mixing of colors.
The sail part of this image is the combination of the red of the boat overlapping the background-hence the color of the red mixed with each of the three color bands behind it.

New Digital Photography Images...

Here are new pictures from my last digital photography assignment- which had to do with freezing-blurring motion and shallow and great depth of field :)

watercolor Masks...

Here are some masks that students made in my watercolor II class and have in a display cabinet.

Below are some more of my pieces.

Enjoy!
